Person on right originally identified as Octavio Araujo. Corrected 05 April 2018 with information from Dr Abilio Araujo via Adriano Da Costa E Silva on Facebook. Dr Abilio is the brother of Afonso Redentor Araújo. He also advises that Afonso created the melody for the National Anthem of Timor-Leste, Pátria, Pátria.. (lyrics by Francisco Borja da Costa).
Only one person composed and wrote the national anthem, Patria Patria, among many other patriotic songs including Foho Ramelau, which was my father Afonso Redentor.
The true history needs to be published and archived for future generations so there is no confusion.
I am the daughter of Afonso Redentor who my father named Fretilina after Fretilin.
